2% Club

The mission of the 2% Club is to encourage and increase effective business/corporate giving in the community.

Its informal coalition of business executives agree to support and promote charitable giving through their company, and to encourage other companies and executives to get involved in the community.

History:

The 2% Club in Denver is modeled after the 5% Club in Minneapolis, now known as the Keystone Club, whose mission is to promote philanthropic giving in the community. Our Club was started in 1990 by three well known community business leaders, Bill Coors, Sam Gary and Jim Bye (deceased). These three outstanding gentlemen recognized the importance of business involvement and wanted to encourage others to experience the personal and business rewards of giving back to the community.

Our Club continues to grow and build on the principles and spirit on which it was founded.
